Tchernov Cable is a specialist high-end audio and video cable manufacturer established in Russia in the early 2000s. The brand made its official debut in 2002 with a carefully developed collection of cables designed and manufactured entirely in Russia. From the beginning, its purpose was to reduce signal loss and preserve the musical information carried between components. Over more than two decades of continuous research and manufacturing development, Tchernov Cable has grown from a pioneering domestic project into an internationally recognised cable brand. 

At the heart of Tchernov Cable is its philosophy of “Musical Fidelity.” Its cables are engineered to preserve the natural timbre of instruments, the individuality of performers and the emotional character of the original recording. Wide bandwidth, tonal accuracy and low signal attenuation allow connected components to retain their individual qualities while working together as a balanced and musically cohesive system.

Rather than relying on decorative or esoteric concepts, Tchernov Cable follows a scientific, construction-led approach. Its proprietary developments include SATI® insulation, SASDB® dielectric binding, FTDA® conductor damping, DSC hexagonal conductor architecture and X-Shield® protection against electromagnetic interference. These technologies are designed to control electrical, mechanical and environmental influences that may affect signal transmission.

A defining material is the company’s Balanced Refinement Copper, or BRC, sourced from Russia’s Ural region and electrolytically refined to achieve a highly uniform conductor structure. Increasing grades of BRC are used throughout the collection, with BRC+ reserved for the flagship Ultimate series. Special insulation, vibration-damping jackets, shielding systems and proprietary soldering materials are selected for their contribution to performance and long-term reliability.

Each Tchernov Cable product is individually handcrafted, tested and packed by qualified specialists at the company’s production facility in Zelenograd, near Moscow. The range spans analogue interconnects, digital and multimedia cables, subwoofer cables, speaker cables, jumpers, power cables and connectors. These are offered across the Standard, Special, Classic, Reference, Ultimate and Pro series, providing carefully engineered solutions for systems at different performance levels.
