Founded in 1987 by a group of passionate audiophiles led by Giovanni Maria Sacchetti, Unison Research has become one of Italy’s most respected names in valve amplification. Sacchetti’s lifelong fascination with electronics, together with a love of music inherited from his pianist father, shaped the company’s distinctive approach to high-fidelity design. Its first integrated amplifier, the TRIODE20, established its engineering direction, while the legendary SIMPLY TWO brought Unison Research international recognition. 

Every Unison Research amplifier is designed and handmade in Treviso, Italy. From its carefully developed valve circuitry and generously specified output transformers to its beautifully finished metalwork and natural solid-wood details, every element reflects a commitment to performance, craftsmanship and timeless Italian design. The company believes that a high-fidelity system should be as pleasurable to see as it is to hear.

Today, the range spans pure-valve amplifiers including the Simply Italy, S6 and Triode 25 Black Edition models to the Unico series of hybrid electronics. The latest Unico PRE v2 preamplifier and Unico DM v2 power amplifier combine valves with solid-state technology, offering the musical character of tubes together with power, control and modern versatility.
